We collect three kinds of information:

• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage. This collects IP address, approximate location, device type, browser, referring URL, pages viewed, and time on site. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization where supported.
• Call tracking data. When you call the phone number on this site, the call is routed through a pay-per-call service (Service Direct) that records the phone number you called from, the page you were on, the time of the call, and the duration. This data is shared with the restoration company that answers the call. The content of the call itself may be recorded for quality and compliance purposes; restoration companies typically inform callers at the start of the call if recording is taking place.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We use first-party cookies for basic site functionality and analytics. We do not sell cookie data. We use TrustedForm (a third-party service) to generate a certificate of consent for any lead submission, which helps demonstrate TCPA compliance.

How do we use information?

We use collected information for:

• Understanding which pages help homeowners and which need improvement
• Measuring whether our cost research is reaching the audiences it should
• Connecting homeowners who call to a restoration company in our partner network
• Generating a TCPA-compliant consent record when a homeowner voluntarily submits a form
• Detecting and preventing abuse or fraud

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties unrelated to the services on this site. Restoration companies in our partner network receive call data only for calls they answer through this service.

Who are our third-party service providers?

We use a small number of third-party services to operate this site:

• Google Analytics 4: site usage analytics. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of data.
• Service Direct: pay-per-call routing for the phone number on this site. Service Direct's privacy policy governs their handling of call data.
• TrustedForm by ActiveProspect: lead consent certification. TrustedForm's privacy policy governs their handling of any data captured during form submission.
• Netlify: static site hosting. Netlify may log IP addresses as part of standard web server logging.

Do we track you across sites?

We do not build cross-site advertising profiles. We do not run retargeting campaigns from this site. Analytics data is used to measure usage of this site only. Third-party services may have their own tracking practices governed by their respective policies.

How do we handle children's data?

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to this site, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can control information collection in several ways:

• Use your browser's Do Not Track setting. We honor Do Not Track signals where technically feasible.

How long do we keep information?

Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics default retention, typically 14 months. Call tracking data is retained per Service Direct's retention policy. TrustedForm certificates are retained for TCPA compliance purposes, typically three to four years.

How do we protect information?

We use standard web security practices: HTTPS for all page traffic, limited retention of personal information, and third-party service providers chosen for their documented security practices. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change or when new privacy laws require disclosure. The last-updated date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent substantive change. Minor grammatical or formatting changes may not trigger a date update.
